Anambra Chief Judge Umeadi Elected President Of World Association Of Judges

The State Chief judge Justice Peter Umeadi, has been elected the President of World Association of Judges.

He was elected during the Twenty-fifth Biennial Congress of the World Jurist Association, held at the Carribbean Island of Aruba.
By this election, Justice Umeadi, becomes a member of the Governing Board of World Jurist Association.
The Association which was formed in 1963, as a non-governmental organization with special consultative status at the United Nations Economic and Social Council, is a forum that provides support to the international community on issues of global peace, by strengthening institutions that guarantees the rule of law.
