Obiano’s Election Victory Brings Hope To Ndigbo – Umar Ukpai

BY KENECHUKWU OFOMAH
A renowned evangelist, Rev Dr Uma Ukpai has described Governor Willie Obiano’s victory in the November 18th governorship election in the state as a clear act targeted to bring hope to the Igbo nation.
Rev Ukpai stated this during a sermon at a function at Umunze in Orumba South Council Area.
Rev Ukpai who pointed out that whatever God allows to happen is for a reason, emphasized that Governor Obiano has a greater role to play not just as Governor of the State but in the quest for emancipation of Ndigbo.
He noted that Ndigbo have suffered so much neglect and marginalization in the country because they lacked leadership, attributing the failure of some acclaimed leaders of the race in the past to selfishness and greed.
The man of God said Governor Obiano being a broad-minded person who is committed to the cause of the poor and the downtrodden, has what it takes to assume a leadership role that will yield far-reaching positive results for the Igbo nation.
Stressing that the mantle is already on him, Rev Ukpai prophesied that no force will stand in the way of him realizing God’s ultimate purpose for entrusting leadership in his hands.
