Anambra Head Of Service Udu, Others Commend State 2018 Appropriation Bill

The Anambra State Head of Service, Barrister Harry Udu, says the 2018 Appropriation Bill presented by Governor Willie Obiano to the State House of Assembly is a focused budget.
Describing the Budget shortly after its presentation, at the state Assembly complex in Awka, Barrister Udu , encouraged the citizenry to give their unalloyed support to the Governor in his second term in office.
On his part, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Labour Matters, Comrade Godwin Ibekwe, commended the main trust of the budget anchored on job creation and economic diversification which, he said, are indications of the Governor’s determination to enhance the living standard of the people.
Comrade Ibekwe spoke of the state government’s willingness to engage workers meaningfully into productive ventures through its policy to monitor their productive capacity, as contained in a recent statement demanding their unflinching commitment to their duties.
Contributing, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Project Monitoring and Evaluation, Engineer Emeka Okoye, viewed the budget as realistic as it captured the expectation of Ndi Anambra.
On their parts, the National Publicity Secretary of APGA, Chief Ifeatu Obi-Okoye said though the budget has a human face, it needs to be translated to the stomach of the ordinary man , while a Public Affairs Analyst, Prince Chike Okafor – Agilo , the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Political Matters, Chief Fidelis Umeh Mmalife , and the member representing Aguata One Constituency in the state Assembly, Chief Ikechukwu Umeh, viewed the Appropriation Bill tagged “Budget of Value for Money, Economic Diversification and Job Creation” as apt, expecting it to be given a speedy passage by the Legislature to move the state to the next level.
