Obiano’s CPS, Eze Seeks Stronger Partnership With The Media

The State Government says the Media has a key role to play in ensuring that its lofty vision for the development of the State is realized.
The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr James Eze disclosed this at a media parley at the Government House, Awka, shortly after he was sworn into office.
Mr Eze who noted that the Media has been a key partner with the State government in Governor Obiano’s first term, assured that in the second term, government looks forward to a more robust partnerships that will promote good governance in the state.
He noted that the Obiano administration has done so much that can be properly packaged and disseminated to elicit the interest of more investors to come into the state, urging Media practitioners to see the development of the State as their own project.
The Chief Press Secretary emphasized that Governor Obiano was quick in naming his principal officers because he is eager to get on with the task of developing the state, assuring Ndi Anambra that the second term will be eventful.
Mr Eze promised to operate an open administration that will engender a better understanding between practitioners and the state government, soliciting the support of all to enable him succeed.
Responding the State Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Mr Emma Ifesinachi thanked Mr Eze for his promises and assured him that journalists in the state will show him solidarity.
