Anambra Information Commissioner Adinuba Assumes Duty, Targets Re-branding State

The Anambra new Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Mr. C. Don Adinuba, assumes duty after swearing in by Governor Willie Obiano,
stating his determination to rebrand Anambra state and achieve the Governor’s vision for the State.
Mr. Adinuba was received at the Jerome Udoji Secretariat by the Permanent Secretary, Sir Benjamin Umerah and other Heads of Agencies and Parastatals under the Ministry.
Addressing staff of the Ministry, the Information and Public Enlightenment Commissioner said it will not be business as usual, as the Ministry will pilot the rebranding of the State and achieve the fifty year plan of the State Government to make the state the most competitive economy in the whole of Africa.
He said his vision is to make the Ministry the best amongst its equal and will ensure they work as a team.
Commissioner Adinuba further urged the staff to pursue dignity, loyalty and more dedication to work.
Responding, the Permanent Secretary, Sir Benjamin thanked the new Commissioner for expressing his lofty goals for the Ministry and assured him that the staff will put in their best to achieve the vision and dream of the State Government.
The meeting also featured interactive session with the members of staff to identify and strategize for the ministry.
